Weekend Seminars in 2008

Health Care Professionals

The Holistic Pediatric Training
seminars are designed to provide health care practitioners with an integrated
program that conveys the concepts and skills necessary to treat children from
a holistic perspective. Practitioners who want to expand their practices to treat
children can now receive the training they need to become effective and confident
child health care providers. Naturopaths, Acupuncturists, and Chiropractors can enhance their skills and develop confidence in diagnosing
pediatric medical problems and managing children's illnesses. Pediatricians and
family physicians can learn the concepts of holistic care that form the foundation
of a whole child perspective. They can also develop the skills to treat common
illness patterns with a holistic methodology, integrating tools of natural medicine
and referral networks into an effective approach to childhood illness.
These
seminars provide the basis for a broad and comprehensive view of the child. Based
on principles of modern medicine, science, and time honored traditions of healing
systems, the seminars present a unified view of the child, including lifestyle,
a personal philosophy of health and healing, and holistic parenting. The series
also provides a holistic model for well-care for children throughout their development
beginning in the prenatal environment, then proceeding from birth through adolescence.
